This past Saturday, we attended the North Carolina Wine Festival in Raleigh. One of our featured cocktails was the Apple Cider Whiskey Mule and it was a huge hit, so we wanted to share the recipe with all of you. This cocktail is so versatile that it's perfect for any of your upcoming holiday parties. You can choose your whiskey and it can be served hot or cold.
When you think of North Carolina in the summertime, blackberries, lemonade and front porch sitting don't stray too far from the mind. So in the spirit of the Carolinas, adding a little bit of whiskey to that summertime feeling is right up our alley. For this cocktail, we wanted to showcase Boundary Street Rye Whiskey's delectable flavors. It is spice-forward with underlying subtleties of butterscotch, vanilla and herbal flavors allowing it to complement, contrast and enhance a myriad of flavors, especially lemon, blackberries and rosemary.
