Cinnamon Maple Sour

This recipe calls for three simple ingredients: 

1. Boundary Street Maple
2. lemon juice
3. homemade cinnamon simple syrup

... you will need equal parts water and sugar and some cinnamon sticks. This is easy to prepare and will keep in the fridge for two weeks.

How to make Cinnamon Simple Syrup

1. Combine equal parts water and granulated sugar in a saucepan over med-high heat.
2. Heat, stirring, until sugar is completely dissolved. Turn heat off. Add cinnamon sticks to desired flavor and allow to steep for 20-30 minutes. 
3. Once you have achieved your desired cinnamon flavor, strain the cinnamon sticks from the simple syrup and pour syrup into an airtight container. 
4. Allow to cool before refrigeration

CINNAMON MAPLE SOUR

Ingredients:

• 2oz Boundary St. Maple
• 1oz fresh lemon juice
• 0.5oz cinnamon simple syrup

Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a shaker glass. Fill with ice. Shake until cold. Strain into fresh glass with ice. Garnish with cinnamon stick and lemon twist. Enjoy!
