Peach Whisk-Tea

This past weekend, we participated in The Big Sip Festival in Winston-Salem, NC. Our cocktail was such a hit we had no choice but to make it this week's Boozeday Tuesday (nor are we disappointed that this is the cocktail of the week).  All you need is iced tea, your favorite Boundary Street Whiskey and some peach simple syrup and you'll be enjoying this cocktail all year long. ​

First up is how to make your peach simple syrup:

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 bag frozen peach slices

Allow all ingredients to simmer on the stove until all sugar has been dissolved (approximately 10 minutes). For a stronger peach flavor, you can either add more peaches or let the peaches sit in the simple syrup for several hours. Once desired flavor is achieved, strain peaches out and put your simple syrup in an airtight container. This should keep well in the fridge for about two weeks. 

Now, on to the cocktail.
Ingredients:

• 2oz Boundary Street Whiskey of your choice.​
• 4-6oz half and half tea
• 2-3oz peach simple syrup

Directions:​
Combine all ingredients over ice. Stir well. Enjoy. 
OR
Batch simple syrup and tea together in large quantities. Let sit for 24 hours in the fridge. Pour over your favorite Boundary Street Whiskey.
