Raspberry Basil Smash

The Raspberry Basil Smash is so good, even the dogs approve. 

Fresh raspberries, basil leaves, a touch of lemon juice and your favorite Boundary Street whiskey combine together for an exceptionally refreshing cocktail (even in this NC heat wave of a lifetime).

… raspberries for your favorite summer berry, too. Don't like basil? Use peppermint instead. But without further ado, here's how you make the Raspberry Basil Smash

Ingredients:

• 4-5 fresh raspberries
• 3-4 basil leaves
• juice of 1/2 lemon
• 1/2oz simple syrup
• 2oz Boundary Street Bourbon or Boundary Street Rye Whiskey
• Club Soda (or other carbonated beverage; i.e. ginger ale/beer or champagne)

Directions:
Muddle berries, basil, lemon juice and simple syrup in rocks glass. Add whiskey and ice. Stir well. Top with Club Soda. Enjoy!
